Policies

AAPM&R policies:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Antitrust Policy
  • Anti-Harassment Policy
  • AAPM&R Annual Assembly Abstracts Embargo policy:
The AAPM&R Poster Hall, held each year at the Annual Assembly, serves to showcase leading research in the field. Abstracts featured in the Poster Hall are reviewed and selected by peers. Several weeks before the AAPM&R Annual Assembly, the originally-submitted abstracts are released online in a supplemental issue of PM&R, the official scientific journal of AAPM&R. PM&R grants prepublication access of the supplement to subscribers and select members of the media who agree not to publish, broadcast, post online, or otherwise place information about embargoed content in the public domain until the first day of the AAPM&R Annual Assembly. During this embargo period individuals granted access to articles may read them, discuss their findings with the authors, and consult with other experts for the purpose of drafting reports, news stories, or other coverage for release. By requesting access to PM&R embargoed materials, subscribers and members of the media agree to adhere to the above restrictions and also to the following specific policies. For additional questions regarding the embargo policy, email AAPM&R Director of Marketing, Meagen Arensdorff, at marensdorff@aapmr.org or call (847) 737-6092.
