Shoulder pain is overly prevalent in athletes and particularly overhead sports. Shoulder pathology is very complex and proper assessment is often misunderstood leading to non-specific treatments with poor outcomes. A large part of this is the challenging complexity and concomitant injuries that may go unnoticed. As more is being understood about shoulder pathology, timely surgical versus tailored rehabilitation referrals are being implemented more effectively. The overarching aim of this session is to bring in expert teachers in shoulder pathology to provide a more comprehensive evaluation and treatment algorithm for improving their clinical outcome measures.
